Ingredients
  

  • - 2 lbs turkey necks
  • - 1 onion chopped
  • - 2 carrots sliced
  • - 1 bell pepper chopped (optional)
  • - 2 cloves garlic minced
  • - 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • - 1 tsp salt
  • - 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • - 1 tsp Cajun seasoning optional
  • - 1 tbsp oil
  • - 2 bay leaves

Instructions
 

  • Wash and pat dry turkey necks. Season with salt, pepper, and optional Cajun spice.
  • Heat oil in skillet, brown turkey necks on all sides.
  • Transfer to roasting pan. Add onions, carrots, garlic, and optional bell pepper.
  • Pour in broth, add bay leaves. Cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until meat is tender.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides.
